Hi, I’m Emma — welcome to my small nest!

I started My Small Nest from a 380 sq ft studio apartment with a futon I found on the curb and a budget that laughed at me. What I learned, rearranging that one room roughly four hundred times: small spaces don’t need less style — they need smarter style.

Every idea here is tested in a real small home and priced for a real small budget. If a layout trick or a $12 lamp makes your space feel twice as big, I’ve done my job.
